Ex-NBA Star Arrested For Illegal Gambling

Poker players know the phrase “the house always wins.”

But what if a physical house you owned was being used to operate a high-stakes illegal poker operation?

If you’re Gilbert Arenas, that’s the current situation you and your Encino, CA mansion are facing.

And not just a sticky situation. But federal charges and an arrest via the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Throughout his NBA career, Arenas averaged over 20 ppg and was a 3x NBA All-Star.

But one could argue Arenas was most known for his off-the-court drama.

After an 11-year NBA career and a one-season stint with the Shanghai Sharks, Arenas has remained involved in sports, including as a host of The No Chill Podcast in collaboration with Underdog Sports.

Arenas’ future, however, remains in question after Wednesday’s arrest and federal charges.
